Earlham College will once again be on the hunt for a head basketball coach, as Isaiah Cavaco is no longer listed on the school’s athletics staff directory. Earlham is now set to search for its fourth head coach in the past three seasons.
Cavaco, who was hired last spring, went 2-23 (1-17 HCAC) in his lone season leading the Quakers. He arrived at Earlham following a 17-year run as the head coach at Oberlin College, and also spent time as the head coach at NJCAA D2 Terra State Community College.
The program has seen significant turnover, as Joe Scheuers stepped down just three games into the 2024-25 season and was replaced by Adam Hutchinson.
No official statement has been released by Earlham at this time.
