Notre Dame Prep Basketball in Elmira, NY is accepting applications for an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach.

Notre Dame Prep is building a high-level program focused on player development, structure, and college placement. This role is ideal for a coach who wants to be part of a growing program and gain real experience in a prep school setting.

The Assistant Coach will work directly under the Head Prep Coach and play a key role in both basketball operations and student-athlete development. This position goes beyond the court and includes mentorship, accountability, and daily involvement in the lives of our players.

We are looking for someone who brings energy, discipline, and a strong understanding of what it takes to help players reach the next level.

Primary Responsibilities
– Lead and assist in player development sessions
– Support practice planning and game execution
– Film breakdown and scouting report preparation
– Manage equipment and program logistics
– Assist with recruiting and player evaluation
– Oversee transportation and travel coordination
– Provide housing and academic supervision
– Support daily operations and school responsibilities

Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year institution
– Minimum 3 years of coaching experience
– Valid driver’s license
– Strong communication and leadership skills
– Ability to build relationships with student-athletes
– Organized, reliable, and team-oriented
