Chad Gayle has departed the staff at Wagner after one season as an assistant. Word on the street is that he is headed to Seton Hall in a player development role. Prior to his time at Wagner, Gayle was a GA on Shaheen Holloway’s staff from 2023-25.
There were at least four on-campus interviews last week at D2 Anderson University (SC). Names that I’ve heard here include Western Carolina assistant Adam Bullard, a current head coach from their league (SAC), a current NAIA head coach from the south, and a former D2 head coach. More on this one as I hear it.
The search at D3 Lebanon Valley is in the Zoom phase. I heard that there were seven Zoom’s last week, and that the field is currently being narrowed. Some names making the rounds are, Former UNCG and Radford assistant Brett Gilbert (played at LVC), Bucknell assistant Jesse Flannery (his dad Pat won the 1994 D3 National Championship as the head coach at LVC), three current D3 head coaches, and a D3 assistant.
