Vanderbilt has released announcements on a trio of new staff members on social media today, as they have officially added Rodney Terry, Joel Justus, and Chad Myers have joined their men’s basketball program. Terry and Justus will serve as assistant coaches, while Myers will become the Director of Recruiting.
Terry most recently served as the head coach at the University of Texas, and previously held head coaching positions at University of Texas at El Paso and California State University, Fresno. He replaces Jon Cremins who became the head coach at Georgia State earlier this spring.
Justus previously served as associate head coach at Ohio State University. Justus has also been an assistant at NC State, Arizona State, Ohio State and Kentucky. He replaces Kenneth Mangrum, who departed for Georgia Institute of Technology.
Myers previously worked at New Mexico State University. Prior to that, he was the head coach at several prep programs, including IMG Academy, Massanutten Military Academy, and Elev8 Academy.
