Fodor named Director of Basketball Operations at CSUN

Alex Fodor returns to the CSUN Men’s Basketball program as director of basketball operations for the 2026-27 season.

Fodor also played a role in the development of three All-Big West selections, while helping the Matadors rank in the top 30 nationally in five offensive and defensive categories.

During his time at CSUN, Fodor also coached AAU basketball, as well as working closely with NBA player-development coaches in the summer. Fodor spent two summers working on staff at the NCAA Academy in Memphis, Tenn., and Rock Hill, S.C.

Prior to CSUN, Fodor played varsity basketball for four years at Pilgrim High School in Los Angeles where he earned freshman of the year accolades and all-league first-team honors as a junior and senior. He also played AAU basketball for BTI throughout his time in high school.

Originally from North Hollywood, Calif., Fodor graduated from CSUN in Spring 2025, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism.
