DME Academy at St.John’s Northwestern Academy in Delafield, WI is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Basketball Coach.

This position will work directly with our Boys High School National and Post-Graduate basketball teams. This is an entry level position that will allow coaches to grow, learn, and develop while being exposed to high school athletics at the highest level. Assistant coaches will have a variety of responsibilities and the opportunity to grow in all aspects of coaching. DME has a history of developing Division I student-athletes. We are looking for coaches that can assist in developing our players both on and off the court. We also are connected to college programs all over the country. We understand this is a stepping stone to advancing coaches careers. This position will report directly to the head coach or director of the program.

Primary duties will include:

• Housing supervision (Dorms)

• Filming/Video Breakdown

• On court instruction

• Individual skill development

• Statistics

• Assist head coaches with practices and games

• Equipment Management

• Transportation

• Daily Basketball Operations

• Social Media

• College Placement

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from a 4-Year accredited College or University

• Previous experience working in college/high school athletics

• Must be able to work evenings/weekends and maintain a flexible work schedule

Preferred Qualifications:

• Former college basketball players or managers

• Previous coaching and/or operations experience

• Experience using video breakdown software such as Hudl or Synergy

Compensation:

• Monthly Stipend ($500 – $700 per month)

• Housing (Dorm room)

• Meals (3 meals per day)

Assistant Coaches must have a personal vehicle and valid driver’s license. Will be subject to a background check.
