| Description: | Western Connecticut State University’s Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is pleased to announce that applications are being accepted for a Men’s Basketball Assistant Coach – Part-Time.

WestConn is a Division III school and a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The football program is a member of the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Association (MASCAC) while the other 19 intercollegiate athletic programs are members of the Little East Conference. The University belongs to conferences and associations appropriate to the specific athletic activity program. Responsibilities: Video recording, editing, scouting, assisting with practice sessions; junior varsity practice and games; recruitment of student-athletes; fundraising; monitoring the academic progress of team members; game travel and management; and more.
Qualifications: Experience coaching or playing at the collegiate level is preferred. Candidate should have good interpersonal skills and an awareness of NCAA policies as they relate to Division III athletics.
