I can confirm that Ben Tanoff will be named as the new head basketball coach at NJCAA D2 Arkansas State Mid-South. He will replace Cody Hastings who became the head coach at Connors State earlier this month.
Tanoff has spent the past three seasons as an assistant at Ellsworth CC (IA), where he helped the Panthers reach the NJCAA Division II National Championship game this past season.
Prior to his time at ECC, Tanoff served as the Director of Basketball Operations at Presbyterian, and also worked as the Director of Recruiting at Georgia Tech. Before making the jump to the D1 level, Tanoff was an assistant at D3 Maine Maritime and a graduate assistant at NAIA UPike.
