| Description: | Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA is seeking a lead Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach.
Responsibilities:
-Consult with the Head Coach daily regarding practice plans, scouting reports, and any other assignments
-Prepare opponent scouting reports, including organizing, maintaining, and presenting reports and any other relevant game preparation materials
-Manage and operate team social media accounts
-Oversee and maintain equipment inventory in collaboration with the Head Coach
-Assist Head Coach in areas of competition plans, evaluation/recruitment of prospective student-athletes, team travel operations, fundraising, and any other duties as needed
-Ensure compliance with NCAA Division III legislation, Conference of New England policies, University policies, and all applicable federal and state regulations
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree required
-Valid driver’s license
-Previous coaching experience at the collegiate level is not required but is preferred
Compensation:
-$14,500
-Position does not include benefits, housing, or meal plan
