I can confirm that coaching veteran John Pigatti will be named as the new head basketball coach at NAIA Spring Arbor College (MI).
Pigatti had spent the past 20 seasons as the head coach at NJCAA D2 South Suburban College (IL) where he won nearly 600 games. This past season, South Suburban went 27-8 and captured their 14th district championship in the past 20 seasons.
Prior to his time at South Suburban, Pigatti worked as a D1 assistant at St. Francis (PA), Kent State, Creighton, Texas A&M, Western Michigan, Akron, and Chicago State.
An official announcement is expected shortly.
