Gonzaga head coach Mark Few has added Seattle U assistant coach Bryce Douglas to his men’s basketball staff.

Douglas brings more than 15 years of coaching, player development, scouting, and video experience to Spokane. He most recently served as an assistant coach at Seattle U, joining the Redhawks staff in 2023.

Douglas began his coaching career in 2009 as a graduate assistant and video coordinator at the University of San Diego, where he worked under former Gonzaga assistant Billy Grier. He moved on to Whitman College as an assistant coach in 2011 before joining Duke in 2014 as an assistant video coordinator. During his time in Durham, the Blue Devils captured the 2015 NCAA National Championship.

Douglas later spent two seasons with the Phoenix Suns organization as a scout and analyst, with a focus on player development. He also led minicamps for the 2016 USA Basketball team in preparation for the Rio Olympics.

Before arriving at Seattle U, Douglas spent six seasons on the staffs at Florida and Georgia, serving as a special assistant coach.
