Trinity Western University Hires Coach for 2015-16

On Tuesday, December 23, 2014 Trinity Western University announced the hiring of Aaron Muhic as the Spartans men’s basketball head coach for 2015 season. Muhic, who hails from Sacramento, Calf., will begin his coaching duties upon the completion of the 2014-15 basketball season.

Muhic, who is in the top 25 for All-Time NAIA wins among active coaches, will arrive at TWU with over 21 years of experience as a university basketball coach and instructor.

He recently spent 13 seasons as the head coach of William Jessup University (NAIA) in Rocklin, Calf., where he accumulated 173 wins.

In addition to his coaching experience Muhic has a BA from Eastern Oregon University, where he played four seasons with the Mountaineers, and an MS in Sports Science from the United States Sports Academy.

William Jessup University is a Christian Liberal Arts University located in Rocklin, California with an additional site in San Jose, California. The 130 acre campus has become host to over 20 degree majors and over 50 programs. William Jessup competes in the GSAC (Golden State Athletics conference) with Vanguard, Westmont, Biola, Concordia, Arizona Christian, San Diego Christian, The Master’s and Hope International.
