Bizot Steps Down at UT Tyler

After six seasons as the head men’s basketball coach at The University of Texas at Tyler, Kenny Bizot has resigned to take the same position with Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Mississippi.

Bizot, who had a combined record of 79-76, just finished his best season with the Patriots, going 18-8 in 2012-13. He was named American Southwest Conference East Division Coach of the Year and he also earned the honor for the 2007-08 season – his first with the Patriots.
