Fresno State head men’s basketball coach Rodney Terry announced Friday that associate head coach Jerry Wainwright has decided to leave the program for personal reasons.

Wainwright came to Fresno State as part of Terry’s staff when he was hired to take over the program in April of 2011. Wainwright was the head coach at DePaul for five seasons before coming to Fresno State.

Wainwright has compiled a 244-225 career record in 16 seasons as a DI head coach (DePaul, Richmond, UNC-Wilmington).
