The St. Cloud State University men’s basketball team has announced Dan DeWitt as their new assistant coach for the 2011-12 season. DeWitt replaces Andrew Cone, who was an assistant for six seasons. Prior to arriving at SCSU, DeWitt spent two seasons as a graduate assistant at the University of Minnesota under current Coach Tubby Smith. He played collegiate basketball at Northern State University under former Coach Don Meyer, the current NCAA all-time wins leader.
