University of New Orleans men’s basketball coach Mark Slessinger formally announced the additions of Kris Arkenberg and Kerwin Forges to his coaching staff.
Arkenberg was an assistant at Panola JC last season. He began his collegiate coaching career as a student assistant at Division I IUPUI and also worked as an assistant at Lincoln Trail College.
Coaching at UNO will be the first collegiate coaching stop for Forges. He had spent five seasons on the staff at St. Mary’s High School (LA). Forges played for three years at Northwestern State while Slessinger was an assistant there.
