Jeff Kidder has been hired as an assistant at Texas Tech. Kidder was the head coach at Indian Hills CCfor the past six seasons (165-39). Her has a career record of 432-109 in 16 years as a junior college head coach at Howard College (1991-93), Dixie State College (1997-05) and Indian Hills Community College (2006-11). He has won 20 or more games in 15 of 16 seasons as a head coach and eclipsed the 30-win plateau five times. Kidder led Dixie State College to the 2002 NJCAA national title after going 34-3 that season. As a result, Kidder was named the NJCAA Division I National Coach of the Year and Coach of the Tournament.
