A bunch of things that I’ve heard today…
• Word on the street is that Carnegie Mellon assistant Drew Garcia will be the new head coach at Chatham University (PA). Garcia had been the full-time assistant at Carnegie Mellon since 2011, and has also been an assistant at Flagler and a GA at Marshall.
• It sounds like Zander Tasch has been named as an assistant coach at Garden City CC (KS). Tasch has been at Colby CC (KS) as an assistant, and was also a GA at Dakota Wesleyan University. Tasch spent this summer in an administrative role with the Hoop Group.
• Former Salve Regina University (RI) assistant Tyler Hundley has accepted a similar position at Lasell College (MA). He joined the Salve Regina staff last season after wrapping up his playing career at Eastern Connecticut.
• I have heard from a great source that Lawson State CC assistant Brian Miller is headed to the HS ranks. He will become an assistant at Leeds (AL) HS (Charles Barkley’s alma mater). Miller has also spent time at Jacksonville State and Miami Dade College.
