A couple of quick hitters…

• In one of the worst kept secrets in America…Maryland will promote DBO Cliff Warren to an assistant spot. Warren, the former head coach at Jacksonville, joined the Maryland staff earlier this spring. He is a Maryland native who played for Jim Phelan at The Mount (MD). He went 126-150 over that past nine seasons at Jacksonville.

• I have heard that Dan DeVantier has joined the staff as assistant coach at Palm Beach State College. He was previously at Sullivan County Community College and SUNY Delhi. DeVantier played college basketball at Hartwick College with current Palm Beach State head coach Martin McCann.
