According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Marquette has reached out to former UCLA head coach Ben Howland in their search to replace Buzz Williams. Howland sat out last year after being dismissed by UCLA and has been linked to almost every high major opening this month. He went 230-105 including three straight Final Four appearances at UCLA. Howland also had success in the Big East, guiding Pitt to an 89-40 record in four seasons.
