There has been much speculation over the past two days that URI head coach Danny Hurley could be a possible replacement at Rutgers. Multiple sources are now saying that Hurley has committed to returning to URI and is working on a contract extension with the university. It is rumored that URI may give Hurley two additional years which would run his deal through the 2019-20 season.
