a few more things that I’ve heard today…

• I have heard from two good sources that Fredonia State (NY) head coach Kevin Moore did not have his contract renewed. Moore had been the head coach at the school for the past 12 seasons (123-181). He has also been the head coach at Washington and Lee and Elmira.

• Two names that I’ve heard surrounding the search at Cal Baptist are Cal State San Marcos head coach Jim Saia and Concordia (CA) head coach Ken Ammann. Saia is a former assistant at UCLA and USC who started the program at San Marcos two years ago. Ammann is a former player at Stanford who has been at Concordia for the past 12-seasons.

• I can confirm that Curtis Norwood is out as the head coach at South Puget Sound CC. This had been his third season at the helm. His squad only won three games this past season.
