The contract for Bobby Braswell, head men’s basketball coach at Cal State Northridge, will not be renewed, according Dr. Brandon E. Martin, Director of Intercollegiate Athletics.

"I want to thank Coach Braswell for his 17 years of service and contributions to our men’s basketball program and the university community at large," said Martin. "I wish Coach Braswell and his family all the best moving forward."

Braswell recently completed his 17th season at CSUN in 2012-13. Braswell’s overall record was 251-258, and 140-139 in league competition.

A national search for a new head coach will begin immediately, according to Martin.
