Multiple sources have confirmed that Texas Tech assistant coaches Jeremy Cox and Bubba Jennings have been fired. Interim head coach Chris Walker remains (for now). The assistants were informed this morning by AD Kirby Hocutt of the decision.

Walker took over at Texas Tech just before the season began after Billy Gillispie resigned citing health concerns. Holcutt has remained non-committal as to weather Walker will be retained. It sounds like he will conduct a search, but Walker will have the opportunity to be a candidate.
