After a lot of speculation and rumors, it appears that Maryland-Baltimore County will retain Aki Thomas as their head coach. Thomas was appointed as the acting head coach a few days before the 2012-13 season started. Many (including me), were led to believe that this was a one year position, and a search would be done after the season. UMBC is currently 7-22 as they head into the America East Tournament this week.
