Today’s Daily Dirt…

• I have heard from a great source that Dustin Pfeifer has resigned as the head coach at Colby CC (KS). Assistant coach Rusty Grafel will be named as his replacement. Grafel has been on the CCC staff for the past three seasons.

• It sounds like Virginia has hired Marlon Stewart as the director of basketball technology. Stewart had spent the last four years at Cal in similar administrative positions.

• I mentioned yesterday that Nic Kjaerholt from West Virginia Tech has been named as a GA at the University of Rio Grande. I now have a further staff update…head coach Ken French has also hired Zach Thompson as a GA. He is a former head manager at Cincinnati. Also, Heath McKinniss will join the staff as an assistant. He is the former head coach at Jackson High School (OH) is an Assistant Coach.

• I can confirm that Western Texas College has hired Justin Haas as an assistant. Haas has most recently worked at Cabot HS (AR).
