According to FOX-26 in Houston, former UAB and Indiana head coach Mike Davis has agreed to become the interim head coach at Texas Southern. Davis led Indiana to the Final Four in 2002 and was named Conference USA Coach of the Year at UAB after the 2010-2011 season. In 12 season as a head coach, Davis holds a 237-152 career record. He will replace Tony Harvey who resigned last month for personal reasons.
