HOT RUMOR: Dalton State to hire Ingle

Two separate sources have confirmed that former Kennesaw State head coach Tony Ingle will become the head coach at Dalton State. Ingle was released at KSU following the 2011 season. He went 178-165 during his 11 seasons at the helm of the Owls.

Current Dalton State AD Derek Waugh was the head coach at Stetson while Ingle was at Kennesaw State – they are both members of the Atlantic Sun conference.

Ingle beat out Henry Dickerson, Randy Peele, and Carl Nash for the job.

It sounds like the official announcement may be made as early as tomorrow.
