Dalton State College (GA) is in the process of bringing back basketball. They have not had a basketball team in nearly 30 years, but expect to field one for the 2013-14 season (NAIA). New AD Derek Waugh (former head coach at Stetson) has put together an impressive group of finalists. The list was trimmed from 8 to 4 earlier this week. All of the finalists are expected to interview on-campus within the next 10 days. The Final Four are:

• Henry Dickerson – Current Head Coach Johnston CC. Former Head Coach Tennessee-Chattanooga & NC Central.

• Tony Ingle – Former Head Coach Kennesaw State (a Dalton, GA native).

• Carl Nash – Former Head Coach Chipola JC .

• Randy Peele – Former Head Coach Winthrop & UNC-Greensboro.
