Day 2 of being at home with the four Little DirtBags…My experience can best be described by the Lonestar song “Mr. Mom”…. "Pampers melt in a Maytag dryer, Crayons go up one drawer higher, Rewind Barney for the fifteenth time, Breakfast six naps at nine, There’s bubble gum in the baby’s hair, Sweet potatoes in my lazy chair, Been crazy all day long and it’s only Monday Mr. Mom".

Here are a few things that I’ve been able to dig up while dealing with the little monsters…

• I can confirm that Hartford assistant Drew Dawson is no longer with the program. He had spent the past four seasons on the Hartford staff – the first two under Dan Leibovitz, and the past two under current head coach John Gallagher. Dawson also spent four seasons on the staff at his alma mater Lafayette. There is no word yet on a replacement.

• Emerson College assistant B.J. Dunne has departed for an assistant spot at Vassar College. Dunne has also worked as an assistant at Babson, and has been the Dunne Program Director for the Bay State Flash AAU.

• I had heard that Dunne also interviewed for the vacant assistant position at Allegheny. It now sounds like that job will go to Alfred College assistant Ron Higgins. Before joining the Alfred staff last season, Higgins was the graduate assistant at his alma mater Heidelberg.

• Sounds like former Morehead State assistant Joel Zimmerman will land as an assistant at Limestone College (SC). Zimmerman was the DBO and later a full-time assistant at Morehead State under Donnie Tyndall. He has also worked at Barton College and Anderson University.
