A few quick late night items…
• Sounds like New Mexico assistant Ryan Miller has been offered a job by Frank Haith at Missouri. Miller has been with Steve Alford at New Mexico since 2007. He also worked for John Calipari at Memphis in an ops role. His brother Mike plays in the NBA for the Heat.
• Oral Roberts will hire Oklahoma graduate assistant Wade Mason as a full-time assistant. Mason will replace Tom Hankins who departed for Southern Illinois a few weeks ago.
• I blogged last week that Hawaii DBO (and former La. Tech head coach) Kerry Rupp was involved with a spot at Montana. I can now confirm that he has accepted the job on Wayne Tinkle’s staff.
• I have heard that Texas State DBO Mark Berokoff has departed to become the head coach at Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College. My source tells me his replacement will be former TSU player John Rybak. Rybak was hired in January in an academic support with the program.
