Multiple sites are reporting that Louisville assistant Richard Pitino, the son of Cardinals coach Rick Pitino, will replace Isiah Thomas as head coach at Florida International. Pitino has been an assistant at Florida, Duquesne, Northeastern and College of Charleston, as well as working under his father for a total of three seasons in two stints with the Cardinals.
