Some late night “dirt” as we head in to Columbus Day Weekend….

I can confirm that Riverland CC (MN) head coach Dan Swift has resigned. He had been at RCC since 2006 and has decided to pursue other opportunities. He will be replaced on an interim basis by RCC baseball coach Scott Koenigs.

From a great source…. Rick Karius, an assistant at Wisconsin-Superior has been offered an assistant spot at Wisconsin- La Crosse. Karius was a GA at Southwest Minnesota State before joining the Superior staff last season. He played at La Crosse from 2005-09.

I have heard that Justin Baxter will join the staff at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia as an assistant. He spent the past three seasons at Neumann University and before that he was an assistant for six years at Pennsbury High School.

Ryan Hyland and Ed Kenney have been named assistants at Catholic University. Hyland is a 2011 CU graduate where he served as a student assistant and a player. Kenney comes to CU from Mount St. Mary’s where he graduated from in 2011.
