Jimmy Voight is officially out as the head coach at Bluefield State. I mentioned on 9/14 that I had heard about a meeting that Voight had with the President and AD concerning his future at the school. It took a bit longer than expected to reach a decision, but according to someone close to the situation, Voight received his termination letter yesterday. With less than a month until practice starts, it sounds like BSC will hire an interim head coach for this season, and find a permanent replacement when the season ends. I have not heard any specifics as to why Voight was released. He was 6-21 in his only season at BSC. Last summer, Voight replaced Don Jones who went 23-146 in his 6 seasons at BSC.
