I can’t believe it’s already July! As we all gear up for the live period, I will continue to keep you updated on the things that I hear from the road. Here’s today’s dirt….

I ‘ve heard that former SC State and Tenneseee State head coach Cy Alexander is in the mix for an assistant spot at Maryland-Baltimore County. He would be in line to replace Nate Stewart who took the head spot at Eastern University last week. Alexander has 343 wins in 22 seasons as a head coach.

Jestin Anderson has accepted an assistant position at Pratt CC (KS). He had been an assistant at Lake Land College (IL) for the past three seasons and was the GA at Quincy University before that.

It sounds like Anderson’s replacement at Lake Land will be Zach Patterson. He spent last season at Danville Area CC and has also worked at Wabash Valley CC.

I have heard that Miami-Dade CC will make a decision on their new coach over the weekend. They did phone interviews and brought candidates to campus last week. I’ll post more as I hear it.
