Pretty quiet so far today, here’s what I have so far….

I’ve heard that Trinity Christian head coach Kevin Lubbers is the choice at Colorado Christian. He had been at Trinity Christian as an assistant since2004, and took over as the head coach in 2009. He replaces David Daniels who took the job at Northwest Nazarene in April.

The search at Radford is in full swing. I can confirm that a seven person search committee has been formed. It sounds like they want to narrow the field to four finalists who they will interview on campus. Sounds like Mike Smelkinson will be named as the next head coach at Howard Community College (MD). Smelkinson played at St. Mary’s (MD), and was most recently the head coach at Marriotts Ridge High School.

Former DePaul assistant Scott Wainwright has taken the job at South Brunswick High School (NC). He is the son of former UNC-Wilmington and Depaul head coach Jerry Wainwright. He was an assistant at SBHS last season, and has also been the head coach at Cape Fear CC.
