According to a report by FoxSports.com, Syracuse assistant Rob Murphy is the choice to become the next head coach at Eastern Michigan. He may be the guy they want, but according to our source, it is not a done deal yet. Murphy, who is a Detroit native, has been offered the job but has not officially accepted it. He is expected to say yes sometime today – barring any late minute contract issues. Once it becomes official, a Thursday announcement is expected.
