As Fresno State begins the process of replacing Steve Cleveland, here are some of the names that I’ve heard so far:

Bob Cantu – Assistant Coach USC.

Ernie Kent – Former Head Coach Oregon

Ed Madec – Head Coach Fresno City College

Wayne Tinkle – Head Coach Montana

Vance Walberg – Assistant Coach UMass

Also, former Fresno State head coach Jerry Tarkanian has been lobbying for Pat Knight, but I’m not sure that he’d be a candidate here.

Fresno State officials are looking to get this done with in a month.
