Apparently Illinois-Chicago has narrowed their search down to five candidates. With the help of a search firm and former South Carolina head coach Eddie Fogler as a consultant, AD Jim Schmidt and his crew will choose between these five:

Howard Moore – Wisconsin assistant

Mark Montgomery – Michigan State associate head coach

Willis Wilson – Memphis assistant

Vince Taylor – Minnesota assistant

Joe Pasternak – New Orleans head coach

With school starting soon, this search is expected to be wrapped up quickly. I’ll keep you posted as soon as I hear what they decide on.
