A couple of things that I’ve heard this morning while sitting in another sweltering gym……

Jimmy Link has been hired as the top assistant at Paine College in Georgia. He spent last season at Newberry College (SC) and has also worked at Flagler, North Florida, and Washington College.

Plymouth State (NH) has completed the phone interview round for their vacant head coaching position. They are expected to bring the finalists to campus with in the next week and have someone hired shortly after that. The finalists are believed to be New England guys with strong administrative backgrounds.

Not sure what to make of the LeBron spectacle on ESPN tonight. Any guesses as to where he’ll end up? I’m calling it right now…..he stays in Cleveland! **UPDATE: LeBron to Miami – I was wrong! Go Heat**
