Just catching up on a some recent hirings from the last few days…….

DIII Rhode Island College has hired John Weir as an assistant. He was an assistant at Connecticut College last season and played at RIC from 2003-2007.

The University of Maine added Ed Kohtala to the staff. Kohtala has been at a bunch of places, most recently UMKC. He also worked for Rick Barnes at Texas and Clemson. He is originally from Maine.

Mike Riley has been hired at as an assistant at Albright. He is a 2006 graduate of York College (PA) and replaces former assistant coach Kevin Driscoll who left Albright in July to continue his work with the Hoop Group Elite Basketball camp.

NJIT’s new Director of Operations is Nelson Albino. He is a 2009 graduate of Drew (NJ) University.
