The Head Coach – Mens Basketball DWC manages the daily operations of a competitive NCAA Division III athletics program.

Administer assigned athletic program in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of the athletics department, the New England Collegiate Conference, and the NCAA.
Ensure compliance with all rules, regulations, guidelines, and standards for student athlete financial aid, eligibility, and recruiting.
Instruct student athletes on improving personal and teamwork skills. Provide guidance and encouragement to help students profit from participation.
Develop action plans that will monitor and support the academic progress of student athletes.
Evaluate individual and team performances. Develop successful game strategies.
Establish and maintain a recruiting program that facilitates the successful recruitment of student athletes for program-specific recruiting goals. Market and promote the program.
Oversee the conduct and discipline of student athletes.
Provide technical leadership to assistant coaches, trainers and student workers. Lead through example; monitor, influence and train others. Provide input to supervisor on performance reviews and help to identify development needs.
Manage budget for assigned athletic program.
Develop and oversee team members’ engagement in on-campus and off-campus community service projects.
Attend College functions such as Commencement and Orientation, serve on College committees, represent the College at public events pertaining to athletics.
Maintain and develop team specific fundraising plans and activites.
Develop and implement an annual recruiting plan designed to maintain the maximum number of student-athletes on the assigned team annually.
Develop a community service program that involves all team members volunteering their time in the local community.
Carry out all other duties assigned by the Director of Athletics.
