The Assistant Coach is responsible for assisting with the overall organization, direction, supervision and administration of an NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball program. Duties include: assisting the head coach in all aspects of daily operations of the program, recruiting student athletes within the rules and philosophy of the NCAA, PSAC, and Mansfield University; evaluating personnel; emphasizing academic priorities to student athletes; assist with organizing/conducting practices and games; related administrative tasks; fundraising; and maintaining appropriate communication with students, other coaches, university staff, parents, and alumni.
