Assist with all phases of the Division I men’s basketball program including planning of practice sessions and competitive coaching situations; develop scouting reports and pre-competition evaluations of opponents; strong recruiting, teaching, mentoring and coaching skills; and other administrative duties in adherence with Big 12 Conference, university and NCAA policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and evaluate talent and recruit academically qualified and athletically talented student-athletes. Contribute to and enhance a competitive athletic experience. Establish and maintain an environment conducive to the welfare and academic success of the student-athletes. Establish and maintain effective interactions with students, colleagues, university staff and administrators, alumni and the public.
