Assistant Ops
The successful candidate will be report to the Head Men’s Basketball Coach to: 1. Represent the head coach and/or staff at various meetings or functions. 2. Liaison to academic counseling and help foster the academic progress of student-athletes, including checking classes. 3. Supervise student managers. 4. Organize and monitor the film exchange program for opponent and self scout. 5. Assist with departmental or University fund-raising, public relations and media contact requirements. 6. Oversee administrative duties, such as training table, court kids, etc. 7. Liaison to administrative offices within the department and University. 8. Assist in coordination of fund-raising and promotional events. 9. Be an on-campus contact during summer recruiting periods. 10. Coordinate practice and facility scheduling. 11. Know and understand NCAA rules related to the on-going performance of duties within an NCAA Division I program and commitment to follow those rules. 12. Perform other duties as requested by the head coach or director of athletics or his designee at the University.
