Shippensburg University is currently seeking applications for the position of Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
This is a full-time, 12-month, non-teaching position which will assist the Head Men’s Basketball Coach in implementing a competitive NCAA Division II basketball program including, but not limited to: recruitment of qualified student-athletes with a commitment to academic success and the ability to relate to those student-athletes; compliance with University, Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations; scheduling; strength and conditioning and player development; scouting; budget management; summer sports camps; program promotion and public relations; fundraising; staff oversight; and other duties assigned by the Head Basketball Coach.

Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree is preferred. Applicants must have two years of collegiate level basketball coaching experience. Applicants must possess effective communication skills and the demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population. Successful performance in an on-campus interview is required.
