The University of Iowa Athletics Department seeks applications for Director of Men’s Basketball Operations. This is a 12-month, full-time position with full University benefits.
Responsibilities: Oversee men’s basketball office operations, budget and financial management; schedule practice facilities home/away; coordinate all aspects of team travel; coordinate summer camps, golf tournament and training table; coordinate purchasing of all equipment and apparel; arrange community service events for team; serve as men’s basketball liaison with senior administrative team, athletics marketing and academic student services personnel; coordinate scheduling of non-conference games; coordinate and manage all administrative work related to hiring in men’s basketball; other duties as assigned by head coach. This position requires the ability to travel in the months of October through March and requires frequent work in the evenings, on weekends and holidays.
