Under the direction of the Head Men’s Basketball Coach, the Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the development and administration of a successful NCAA Division III Intercollegiate Men’s Basketball Sports Program. The program will be conducted in accordance with all University and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) rules, regulations, and policies.
Essential functions of the position include but are not limited to:
Teaching and developing sport specific skills, in a successful, safe, and prudent manner
Developing, presenting, and maintaining an up-to-date lesson plan of pre-season/season practice drills and procedures
Assisting in the recruitment of quality student-athletes
Scouting of opponents.
This is a part-time (15 hours per week), 9-month position paid by stipend on a bi-weekly basis.
