Lamar State College Port Arthur is seeking applications for the position of Head Basketball Coach. The Head Men’s Basketball Coach will be responsible for the direction and oversight of a NJCAA Division I Basketball program and the coaching functions related to the sport of Men’s Basketball. These functions include, but are not limited to the following: coaching, recruiting, practice, game day preparation, alumni communication, fundraising and management of staff. Provide effective management of games and practices. Supervise staff and establish a strong working relationship with the College and surrounding community. Follow NJCAA, and College rules and regulations. Develop the athletes physically, mentally and emotionally. Organize and manage camps and clinics. Any other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
