The University of Southern Mississippi invites applicants for a full-time position as an assistant coach for men’s basketball in the Intercollegiate Athletics department.

Responsibilities include on-court coaching, scouting, recruitment and evaluation of student-athletes; fundraising, correspondence, promotions, public relations and other related duties as assigned by the head coach.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adheres to University and department policies, procedures and regulations
• Adheres to laws, bylaws, rules, policies, regulations and constitutional provisions of the federal government, state of Mississippi, IHL Board, The University of Southern Mississippi, NCAA, Conference USA or any other governing authority
• Must have a strong commitment to the welfare of student-athletes and a reputation of integrity, both professionally and in compliance matters
